Hip Glossary – Rainbow Family

Rainbow Family: Group of hippy gypsies who meet up once a year for the big Rainbow Gathering. During the Gathering they live together and cooperate. They incorporate many American Indian customs in their Gatherings. Local chapters also have events. Many Rainbows travel all year long, going from one camp to another, including seed camp, holding camp, gathering, and cleanup.
