| Hemp clothes are the
fashion rage these days. The strong long lasting fiber that wears-in
not out, has caught on big time. Once used for sails, ship rigging,
and the original Levi's jeans, hemp is ready to regain it's important place
in the world economy.
The Cannabis Cup Fashion show was presented as a humorous play, The Emperor Wears No Clothes. The original story was modified to include hempwear. Don from Ohio Hempery stole the show when he came out in his underwear (photo). He was soon to preside over the fashions worn by various crew and show attendees. The designs on display varied from simple utilitarian, to gritty street style, to elegant Parisian haute couture (see photos below). |
